You can just feel free with Your ideas, how to investigate ice and snow with students. All views for this cold issue are interesting and investigations depends on the age of the students and equipments as well. If at Your country is not cold enough to get ice - may You produce ice in kitchen freezer with some plastic or even juice package.
Snow and ice are also interesting fhysical phenomenon so also pictures and photos from pupils are very interesting. How the snow and ice are experienced by pupils in different countries.
